Ok, one thing I've noticed, that we worked on a couple of years ago is
the

"Use_" flags. Example:

Use_ProgressBar = TRUE

These tell the specific RunTimeFunction that it is needed and to
include it
with the user's .C file. We no longer have RunTimeFunctions internally
(we
link to the runtime library now) so we do not need these Use_ flags.

This will cut an enormous amount of code from the entire program.
