Can someone point me to a good API reference? I have very little
experience with APIs besides using Google maps API a little and
reading this:

I want to start writing a spec for my own API but want to do it right.
...well I guess learning the syntax of a programming language is in a
way learning an API - but I am talking about specs people use for
creating mashup software, that kind of thing.

I found good API search tool on www.zos101.com It finds many types of
APIs, and you can look at for examples. The link to the API search
tool is in 2nd row of keywords on www.zos101.com .
