We produced a successful festival in 2005 as well as in 2006. We provided our participants with performance opportunities throughout the year. Our goal is to equip entertainers with the tools that are needed for their success through workshops, the talent hunt (and critique), panel discussions and networking, networking, networking. We have awarded our winners with recording "demo" packages, photo shoots, audio equipment, free legal consultations, free piano rentals, vocal coaching, and much more. Our participants have also had an opportunity to network at industry mixers such as ASCAP (11-2005) and The Grammys (1-2007). We are planning to be even more generous for the 2007 festival. We are strong supporters of artist showcases and we encourage entertainers to take part in as many showcases as possible (as it brings about a strengthening of skills and allows a glimpse at existing competition). Critiques from professionals “in the business” are invaluable.
