EMAIL SHUTTING DOWN

For ONE week we are going to try the new system, so the old group email is shutting down during that time. For a couple of days I will transfer posts from the old email to the new one, but after that they will be lost in cyperspace. So, as soon as possible, start using the new system.

 

Bookmark the message board and go to it as often as you go to your email to check for messages. The link is

Toward the top of the screen you will see a link that will say either

 

Switch to threaded style or Switch to board style.

 

Choose which style you like best. REMEMBER if you want to reply DIRECTLY to someone who posted a message and not have your reply posted you must choose THREADED style and then click on their email rather than the reply button.

 

In one week a decision will be made as to which way we should go.

 

Many of you have said that you like getting emails. Well going to the message board is like checking your emails. If you keep the site bookmarked and up on your computer you can check it as often as you would your email.

 

You are free to create a "circle of friends." This means collecting emails and corresponding directly to them. Just remember, the Board is a helpful tool to get the message out to newcomers and people in trouble. So it is better to use an anonymous name and post all messages if at all possible.

 

As I said in an earlier email you can post a new topic or reply to a topic already on the board.

 

I have posted the password for now because I may have to go away for a few days. But if the site is abused I will change the password. I can also delete emails if you change you mind about what is posted.

 

REMEMBER, the most important part of your email is the SUBJECT LINE. This is where you tell people what you need or what you are posting about.
