OK, so I didn't give up. I found a new Message Board that allows people to get email notifications if they want them. You have to sign up for this the first time you post a message. I am sorry for any confusion this causes but now everyone has a choice about the email thing. Some people could not access the board at work but they can get emails so this is important. But those who don't want them can just bookmark the board.

 

Email notifications (if you sign up for them) go out once a day. Twelve people can get immediate notification if they want it. The first 12 to ask for it will get it.

 

I started us out with 3 threads. Welcome, Newcomers, Just Venting. Please send suggestions for other categories.

 

Once again, this is a "work in progress" as am I.  For now anyone can post. If anyone abuses the site we will probably have the site moderated or password protected.

 

Send all comments, suggestions, complaints to World Service at lovea...@sbcglobal.net DONATIONS are also welcome. Go to the LAA website to do this. We have a visa account now. The new message board costs us $15month.

 

Announcements will still go out on the google email group. But everything else should go on the board.
