The Vintage Japanese and European Motorcycle Club of North America,
along with the Motorcycle and Model Railroad Museum of Wisconsin, and
Halfcourt Press, Inc, have announced today that the International
Vintage Motorcycle Show and Swap Meet, the second largest vintage
motorcycle show and swap meet in the USA, will be held on August
14-16, 2009 at the Outagamie County Fairgrounds in Seymour, Wisconsin.
In addition to the hundreds of vendors from around the country that
will attend, the Buzz Simmons Memorial Races, sponsored by the Badger
Racing Association and S-K Service of Hatley, Wisconsin, will be held
on Friday, August 14 at 7:30 PM. These races will feature 6 different
classes of vintage racing for both pro and amateur racers.
Vendor spaces are 20' by 20' and cost just $45 each. Pay for spaces
in 2009 and all future spaces for the same vendor will be FREE!!!
Guest speakers will give seminars each day on motorcycle restoration,
repair, grading and evaluation, insurance, and additional topics to be
announced.
A huge indoor vintage motorcycle show will be held. Entries are just
$10. Awards and prizes will be given in 5 different People's Choice
and concours judging categories.
Non-vending individuals can sell their used, running motorcycles in
the bike corral for just $10.
The annual VJEMC Vintage Biker Babes calendar shoot will also take
place. Tastefully dressed women wearing biker-related clothing, ages
teen through retirement, will pose with vintage motorcycles entered in
the show for the annual calendar sold by the VJEMC club.
General admission per day is just $7, and children under 12
accompanied by a paid adult are free. Weekend passes are just $18.
Admission to the races is $12, with pit passes available at noon on
Friday for $25. Food and beverage will be available on site.
Show hours are from 10AM to 8PM on Friday, 8AM to 8PM on Saturday,
and 8AM-2PM on Sunday.
