Thanks to all of you who braved the chilly weather Saturday and came to the Inglewood Cherry Blossom Festival.  There will be a meeting tonight at 1805 Riverwood Drive, 7:00, regarding the new organic garden.  Community input is really important!!  This is for you!!  If you would like to be a part of this, we would love to see you tonight.  If you can't make it tonight, there's another meeting on May 10 at the same address.  Master Gardeners will be helping us to provide hands-on training.  There will also be opportunities to learn about organic food-source planning, canning, and healthy meal preparation.  This isn't just about gardening.  It's about harvesting, preparing healthy meals, and canning for the winter!  You won't be thrown in and expected to just do what you can do.  There will be training along the way.  This is a very unique opportunity.  The only cost will be your supplies, and you get to choose if you want to spend more money on raised beds, or spend a little less for traditional gardening.  It's all about you!  What a great opportunity to teach your children and to do this as a family!!  If you can't make the meetings, there's now a Facebook page so you can keep up with what's going on.  We hope to see you soon!
