The tumors will definitely shrink and the pain will lessen.  Then he will get strength for all the rest.  We'll be setting up a prayer chain and hotline for him to all of us to get him THROUGH it!

Howard Parks <howar...@yahoo.com>: Feb 12 10:26PM Mac saw the radiologist today.  They start radiation Monday to prayerfully shrink the tumors.  He will get radiation Mon-Fri for 21/2 to 3 weeks.  The reality of the battle hit him pretty hard.  He will see Dr. Hauke on Monday to work on a plan for the total treatment of the cancer.   Thanks for continued prayer! OK TeamMac, I have an idea. Let's see if it works. Monday RavMac sees his oncologist and also starts his radiation treatment.  I would love to see a massive prayer chain that day, which we can repeat as time goes on.  This battle IS WINNABLE!   But from other saints who are survivors (and I know MANY) I know that to do spiritual battle one needs physical strength. RavMac is strong spiritually but not physically (yet).  We're TeamMac.  On Monday I can do a partial fast, sunup to sundown, and if anyone else can, that will strengthen our prayer chain.  It's kind of a holiday here and also a day off from work for me so I can take many time slots as needed. Will you pray with me?  I don't know everyone on this list-  I know a few of you.  If you can and want to, post to this prayer list and sign in.  If you want to contact me, do so. If you want to pray quietly on your own, do so.  Just a few thoughts here which you likely already know-

1. "This kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting".  Matt 17:21

2. If we're going to pray and fast and get our Heavenly Father's attention, we need to come clean. Psalm 24:4

3. We must come in faith. If you have no faith pray for it. Hebrews 11:6

G-d does not change. He is still the HEALER.

The only times I am not available is Monday's and Friday's from 7 am to 11 am and Wednesdays from 4pm to 8pm. Full fast is not allowed due to diabetes. Will do partial fasts.
