DEFENCE INSTITUTE OF ADVANCED TECHNOLOGY.,
A technical project sanctioned by Aeronautical Development Agency (ADA), Bangalore is commissioned in the Department of Electronics Engg., DIAT (DU), Pune-25. A ‘Walk-in-Interview/Selection Meeting’ will be held at this Institute on 26 Dec 2011 at 0930 hrs for selection of suitable/eligible candidates for award of Research Fellowships under the mentioned project.
Post:
1)Senior Research Fellowship (SRF)
Qualification :
M. E. / M. Tech. (Communication Engg. / Electronics Engg. From recognized University)
(CGPA 6.5 and above or 65% and above)
Desirable:
Exposure to MATLAB / LABVIEW Software, project experience from reputed Institutes/ Industrial unit.
Age-Limit: Not to exceed 32 Years (*)
2)Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)
Qualification :
M.Sc. (Electronics) / B. E. / B. Tech. (Electronics/ Electronics & Communication/ Communication Engineering from recognized University/ AICTE approved Technical Institute. (CGPA 6.5 and above or 65% and above)
Desirable:
Exposure to MATLAB / LABVIEW & Electronic Measuring instruments.
Age Limit: Not to exceed 28 Years(*)
Note-1 : (*) ‘The crucial date’ for determining the upper age-limit is 26 Dec 2011 (i.e. last date of Walk-in-Interview/Selection Meeting’). Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes and up to 03 years in case of candidates belonging to OBC).
2. An ‘Aptitude Test’ for ascertaining the aptitude of the candidates for research will be conducted by an Expert Committee during the ‘Interview’.
3. Interested candidates fulfilling the eligibility conditions for Research Fellowships as mentioned in Para 1 above, may attend the ‘Walk-in-Interview/Selection Meeting’ at this Institute on 26 Dec 2011 at 0930 hrs, alongwith their original Certificates/Testimonials etc (together with a set of attested copies of each) for detailed scrutiny. Candidates working in Government/Public Sector Undertakings/Autonomous Bodies should produce a ‘No Objection Certificate’ from the present employer. No TA will be paid for attending the ‘Walk-in-Interview/Selection Meeting’.
4. It may please be noted that offer of Fellowship does not confer on the Fellows any right for absorption in DIAT (DU), Pune. It may be terminated at any time on one month’s notice.
