Lisa Marie Presley will kick off the third leg of her “Storm & Grace” tour on August 27 at Penner-Ash Wine Cellars in Newberg, OR. The extensive North American run will include a night at the El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles (September 1), a free show at Levitt Shell in Memphis (September 21) and an evening at City Winery in New York City (October 13). She will also perform at 3rd & Lindsley in Nashville on September 20 as part of the 14th Annual Americana Music Festival & Conference, curated by the Americana Music Association and presented by Nissan.
In addition to performing songs from her latest album, Storm & Grace, and earlier material, Presley will be debuting a new song on the tour: the elegantly tense “People,” which she co-wrote with Future Cut during the Storm & Grace sessions and felt would be a perfect fit for the AMC original series “The Walking Dead.” “People,” which was produced by Michael Lockwood, will appear on The Walking Dead AMC Original Soundtrack – Vol. 2…Sounds of Survival (REPUBLIC RECORDS/AMC). The soundtrack is available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores as part of the special edition Blu-ray and DVD set The Walking Dead: The Complete Third Season. “The Walking Dead”– the number one drama series in basic cable history – returns to AMC for its fourth season on Sunday, October 13, at 9 PM.
