Oxford Reference Online**includes over 100 dictionary, language
reference, and subject reference works published by Oxford University
Press.
Titles may be searched individually or by subject (using the advanced
search). Quick Search allows one to search the whole collection with a
word or short descriptive phrase.
Medicine titles include Concise Medical Dictionary, A Dictionary of
Nursing, A Dictionary of Psychology , and The Oxford Dictionary of
Sports Science and Medicine.
The Oxford Companion to Medicine is a guide to the field of medicine
and its specialties. It contains over 500 substantial articles and many
more shorter ones, on topics ranging from abortion to zombification.
The Oxford Companion to the Body provides concise and readable accounts
of the structure and function of all the major systems of the body and
the causes of disorders that affect them. It also includes social and
religious attitudes to the body, and its significance for artists,
philosophers and writers.
Science titles include A Dictionary of Biology, A Dictionary of
Chemistry, and A Dictionary of Statistics.
