FYI,
Through Bill's hard work, we have been able to get our first ping using
the integrated TNETW1100B chip on the hx4700. There's still work to do,
as there are some problems with the interface dying after a short time,
but please congratulate Bill on the progress. Nice work, Bill!

I will plan to check in the current acx driver once I finish getting the
hx4700 working on kernel 2.6.16. Then maybe other kernel hackers can
also start plugging away at making it work reliably.

Maybe the driver / kernel 2.6.16 will be ready for this in a week or two.
