Hello!

You only need a software which supports it. stoq, a brazilian
software, supports the most used barcode scanners.

it is mult-language, if you are intersted in this software.

cheers

Many barcode readres just sit between the keyboard and the CPU's PS/2
port. And whatever you scan just comes up as coded plain text. All you
will need is an algorithm which can make sense out of the code.

In most software, the use is thus:
1) place the cursor in the textbox that requires the barcode
input. Or, if it is a console application, wait for the prompt.
2) Press and hold the button on the scanning device, hold the bar
code in front, and press the button.
3) If needed, fill the rest of the form and press the OK button.

It is so simple :-)
for where you can get one, I dont know. But many electronic/computer
shops can order if you need them.
