Anyone installed freeSwan/openSwan/strongSwan on RHEL3?

I've installed many copies of freeSwan2.06 on RedHat 8,9 and they all
work. However, I'm struggling with RHEL3-U5. If you have successfully
done it I'd love to hear your success story. The reason why I stick to
RHEL3 is for support and software compatibility issues.
