which one to start out with , Ubuntu or Kali Linux 2.0 ?

I'm moving from Windows to Linux. Which one is better to get started with Ubuntu or Kali Linux 2.0  if you want to be a hacker ?

Hey Linux Enthusiast,

Both are amazing GNU/Linux distros. But for slightly different purpose I guess :)

• Ubuntu : is for production , server or development day to day purpose 
• Kali Linux : is for pen testing , security researches and vulnerability assessment

Please feel free to choose as per your need :)

Ubuntu is a good choice if you are a complete noob. But there are
equally good choices like, Solus and Elementary. I believe both are
derived from Ubuntu, which itself is derived from Debian.

On the other hand, if your intent is to understand more about how a
distribution is built, your preferred options should be: Debian,
Fedora, Arch.
