Thank you so much for your passion and your perserverance.  Our prayers are that Bill 309 passes and that the awareness of this inhuman practice touches the hearts and minds of our island.
 
I share a poem written by my daughter, Julia in 2005 as a high school student.
 
Who am I...?  I am the most innocent of all creatures
tiny... silent... the most vulnerable of all God's creations.
You call me a non-person - undeserving of life and dignity..
You call me unfeeling... because of my budding stage in life.
Look at me!!! see my heart beating at 21 days... 
my brain intact at 20 days... my fingers reaching out...
I am not "potential life". I AM LIFE......
Life in its most perfect and precious form.
Millions like me are tragically and savagely  tortured and killed each year.
Remember the unconscionable acts of but 65 years ago -
millions of Jews ... tortured and butchered because they were
considered "non-human". 
Remember the abused and discriminated African American of the 60's.
Have you not learned?
In the 21st century - Today.. my death is allowed,
my death is demanded.... 46 a million innocent a year worldwide,
1.5 million "American babys" annually.
I feel the pain when you pickle me with your poisen,
or cut me up with your knives.
Without a thought, you crush my brains and vacuum me,
and throw me out with "human waste".
You complain that God's blessings are not worthy of me.
I cry out.... but you turn your ears.  I plead for you to understand.
A country of convenience you are....
snuffing me out like an annoying pimple.
I AM WANTED...by... someone. - Adopt me out, but let me LIVE!!
Open your eyes America to the children you murder each year.
Even animals protect their own.
Protect me as you protect your seals and your birds.
Murder is never an answer or a solution.
America....land of the free and the brave?...
 Not any more  
God save our country.  Her conscience and heart....
exists no more.

    The Crisis Pregnancy Center can be reached at 477-1742, 777-5433. Don't know
    about the Bayview location. Since there is only one center, it is hoped that
    more will open up given the number of abortions.
