The Lord has been gracious to lead us into a new year once again. Through all our varied experiences in 2009, we can testify to the tender mercies and amazing faithfulness of our God. As a church, we are thankful to the Lord for the ways He led us and for all that He accomplished through us.
2010 has been proclaimed as a “Year of Restoration”! This is a promise we have received from the Lord. We believe God wants to restore His people in several dimensions. Starting with our love for Him and experiencing the joy of His salvation all the way to rising up in the power of the Spirit and functioning in the fulness of our calling, God seeks to renew and enlarge our vision of His greatness, passion for His holiness and zeal for His glory.
Following the guidance and direction of the Holy Spirit over the past three years, I have also now entrusted the leadership of the local church to a team of elders led by Sreenath. While I will continue to serve as mentor and provide spiritual support, matters concerning the daily functioning of the church will be looked after by this team. This will enable me to invest much of my time and energy in serving the larger Body of Christ. As most of you are aware, I currently provide leadership and oversight to the Apostolic Churches Alliance and ENHF (Eshcol National Harvest Festival) Training Programs.
As a church, we look ahead to the
wonderful things God has in store for all of us this year. He is the God
of all grace, who calls us to his eternal glory in Christ, restoring us and
making us strong, firm and steadfast (1 Peter 5:10).
GOD BLESS YOU.
