Group in Google Groups Centered on Library Reviews

Welcome to my google group with focuses on reviews of libraries and
their web pages.
I also have a site in ning and flickr which also centers on this topic.
I am exploring what types of services and resources special, academic,
and public libraries provide and what is offered from their web sites.
My site in ning describes unusual features of libraries as well as the
focus of their collections.

I would appreciate hearing your comments and suggestions on what type
of services and resources you would like to see available from a
library web site.

Can you give us some of the criteria you are using for your reviews?

I am considering the extent of the online resources available, the
opportunities for virtual reference (including chat), the availability
of online exhibits, the presence of digitized collections, the appeal
of the web site, and any unusual or out of the ordinary services
offered to users.

Have you considered contacting the Librarires on your list to see if
they are planning any changes or additional services?

I hadn't considered that, but it is a possibly. They may be reluctant
to discuss future content though.
