So I am the group right now.
So I will start a standard thread to get some of you guys to stop
lurking.

ROLL CALL.

Hi my name is Rich and I am a Contact Juggler,
HI RICH.

Anyone else out there.
Oh and have any of you passed on your ball yet?

Read the other"older" threads and respond to them as well.

But, I like lurking. And the pouncing. And the ... er, nevermind.

Hi, my name is Andy, and I'm a Contact Juggler. Not an especially good one,
but I have my fun. :) A friend of mine found CJ and sent me a couple links
to videos, and I decided that I wanted to learn that. So I did.

I've actually got two legacy balls. I took too long to send Rich a return
email, and I was surprised when he sent another -- so now I have two to pass
along. They're really starting to develop their own personality, as it were.
One ball is very calm and tame, nothing extremely exciting has happened to it
(besides getting the occasional taste test from my dog). The other ball, the
adventurous one, has been run over by a couple of cars, rolled down a hill,
hidden in a forest, and gone for a swim in a river. Perhaps not surprisingly,
I don't know where the adventurous one is right now...

Where's the archive?

I am Rafael, have had a Legacy Ball for about 8 months I think.
My life has been up and downs on those months, but I still have managed
to CJ. Right now I'm still a beginner CJer, but I like what I can do so
far.
I am planning to buy new balls soon (the only one I have is the Legacy
Ball), and pass my ball to someone that looks interested in CJing.
Think thats all.

There is not an archive yet. We just started this group 2 weeks ago.

It doesn't surprise me I sent two, don't tell Bob he might get mad cuz
I am only suppose to send one.
If you still have one to send and have a short history you can write
someone lost one and emailed me that they wanted a new one.
I of course declined saying I only send one. Well I guess I was wrong
and I send more than one. Again don't tell Bob.
I love the stories about the ball. Run over by a car. Licked by a
dog. Wicked. Cool, Awesome.

I am glad to hear the stories. It is the best part of this project.
The stories.

OOOO a new ball.

What are you looking at getting?
What kind of CJ do you do, oops dumb question with only one ball I
don't think you are doing much ball spinning.

Man this stuff is confusing, took me a while to realise that all the new
emails in my inbox were conected like a forum.
So for those of you who don't know me i'm Ashley. I've been contact juggling
for about a year but still a novice. I have an acrylic ball and have already
passed my legacy ball onto another friend and bought another training ball
for one of my mates wo's really enthusiasitic for christmas. he's thinking
nabout getting an acrylic soon too, although i think it's a little early.
Well thats it for now, will check in again soon xx

Well, I do some palmspinnig, but with beanbags (very difficult to do
more than 2, though). I like palmspinnig, but at the time I basically
do some stuff with one ball and two hands (don't even use my arms too
much), nothing worth a video or that.
I am planning to do some iso's, but I feel like the Legacy ball is too
small for them (maybe I'm wrong, but that's my feeling), anyway I
practiced some.
About buying new balls, I would like to buy more than one (in fact,
more than 3, to practice palmspinning), so I don't think I will go for
acrylics or expensive things; I still don't know what I will buy.
A year ago I had a gum ball, with which I practiced sometimes, but as
soon as I got the legacy ball I forgot it, because the gum ball was too
light, too old, and too abused. Now I moved away from home, and that
gum ball is lost.

Hi my name is Michael, I just got my ball last week, I've started
CJ'ing a bit, one thing that I like about it is that I can do it almost
anywhere anytime, it's not somethgin that I have to "fit in" It's 1AM
now and I'll probably practice a bit tonight still...

1am has not always been my friend.
Especially when I was dropping a lot and people were sleeping.
I agree that you can CJ anytime anywhere. You just need to be aware
of your surroundings. You don't want to drop on a clear glass table.
Not that I have but I have heard 235234534 stories of people doing
that.

I occasionally practice at work between builds when I'm thinking. It
is at these times that people sometimes notice me because of the drops
that happen. Still a good way to code and think.
