I have an old Rodgers Deseret 115 organ that I need to part ways with (I bought a newer organ earlier this year) and am willing to give to anyone that will come pick it up.  There are a few caveats to be aware of -
  • This does not come with the organ bench
  • Includes the full AGO pedal board (see picture)
  • Includes the original speakers, which are massive (see picture).
  • This organ will require some repair work to get it fully operational.  It has had a problem over the last few years (used to be sporadic, now it's consistent) where when you play one note, it also plays the next half-note up from it.  This makes the organ all but unplayable.  I've talked to an organ tech who said the problem was probably readily fixable, but would likely cost $200-400.
  • The organ is in our basement, but is right next to walk-out stairway so getting it out shouldn't be too difficult.
This is a real old organ, and it doesn't have a lot of variety in the stops, but would be a good home organ for practicing pedalwork.  I'm offering it to this group first, and if I don't get any takers I'll post it on the ksl.com classifieds.

Thanks,
Nate
