For those of you who aren't on Hop to the Beat's email list (and why
aren't you??), Tony and Aurelie Tye are hosting Sylvia Sykes and Nick
Williams the weekend of November 17-19. Sylvia and Nick will be leading
nine classes over that weekend, five in Lindy Hop and four in Balboa.
Classes will be at the Lower Falls Community Center in Newton Lower
Falls (where Tony and Aurelie teach) rather than at the Cambridge
Friends School where they used to be able to hold workshops. The Lower
Falls Community Center is a smaller space, so class sizes will be
limited. That could actually turn out to be a good thing, so my
suggestion is to sign up soon!

Meanwhile, it turns out that Tony and Aurelie won't be holding any
workshops with Steven Mitchell and Virginie Jensen this year. However,
S&V will be in Rochester, NY, the weekend of November 10-12, courtesy
of the Rochester Swing Dance Network. I did my best work at Beantown
this past summer with S&V, so I'll be thinking very seriously about
making the pilgrimage to Rochester!
