Last Friday at Swing City I met a visitor from Toronto who told me
about the Toronto Lindy Exchange that will take place September 8 - 10.
The weekend includes a Friday evening dance with live music, a Friday
late-night dance with DJs if you haven't had enough, a Saturday
afternoon dance atop the CN Tower, a Saturday night dance with live
music, a Saturday late-night dance with DJs if you haven't had enough,
a Sunday afternoon all-you-can-eat brunch and dance with DJs and a
Sunday evening dance with DJs if you're still standing. And it only
costs $80 American (if you register by August 25), which includes the
brunch and a T-shirt! And they'll arrange free housing with local
dancers if you want!!

I'm thinking seriously of going, though I don't know for certain if
I'll be able to "swing" it. (I promise I won't use that one again....)
But it sure looks like one heck of a weekend! See

Well, I just registerd for the weekend in Toronto, since that visitor
was my friend Steve! I'll be there from Friday to Sunday (at least).
Hope to see some of you up there!

And from what I hear it's always a good time... besides, who can pass
up the chance to dance on the glass floor at the top of the CN Tower?
