Hi a h-uile duine

I was thinking that the bilingual Gaelic Arts newsletter below might be of interest to folk on these lists. You can subscribe to the newsletter directly if you want to be kept up to date with cultural and arts events - even if you're not bothered about the events, it's good language practice :). It's also, I think, worth bookmarking the Gaelic Arts portal (http://www.dorus-ealain.com/) referred to in the newsletter.

Tìoraidh an-dràsta

Welcome to the second bilingual Gaelic arts newsletter.

We've had lots of really positive feedback regarding the new bilingual format, and great responses from those of you who had a look at the new Gaelic Arts Portal
We love to hear from you so stay in touch!

Gaelic Arts Portal

Seallaibh ris an earrainn ùir againn!

Tha sinn a' sìor leasachadh a' gheata - ma tha thu airson fios fhaighinn air dè tha dol, tha sinn a' smaoineachadh gun còrd an earrann ùr againn,
"Na tha na pàipearan ag ràdh"
riut. Thathas ag ùrachadh cheanglaichean gach latha gu sgeulachdan naidheachd mun Ghàidhlig agus mu na h-ealain air feadh an t-saoghail.

Tha sinn an dòchas leasachadh a dhèanamh air an earrainn,
Sgrùdadh Luchd-amais
againn an ath mhìos, is mar sin bhiodh e feumail nan cuireadh sibh ur beachdan thugainn!
A bheil thu air a bhith aig tachartas Gàidhlig o chionn ghoirid  - aig cèilidh, consairt, dealbh-chluich no gige? Bheil thu air leabhar Gàidhlig a leughadh no air èisteachd ri CD ùr? Ma tha, tha sinn airson do bheachdan a chluinntinn. Tha sinn den bheachd gu bheil e cudromach èisteachd ri buill luchd-amais a cheart cho math ri sgrùdairean!  Cha leig e leas a bhith fada - tha sinn dìreach a' coimhead airson loidhne no dhà de bheachdan onarach!
post-d gu kir...@gaelic-arts.com

Gheibh a' chiad thriùir a nì sgrùdadh cruinneachadh sònraichte de chairtean-puist bhon Leabhar Mhòr a tha gu bhith air ath fhoillseachadh a dh'aithghearr!
Check out our new section!

We're constantly developing the portal - if you like to be in the know, we think you'll like our newest section...
"What the papers say".
Here you'll find links updated every day to news stories about Gaelic and the arts around the world.

We're also hoping to develop our Audience Review section for next month, so we really need to know what you think!

Have you  been to see a Gaelic arts event recently - a ceilidh, concert, play, or gig? Have you read a Gaelic book or listened to a new CD!  If so, we want to know what you thought. We think it's important to listen to audience members as well as critics! It needn't be long - a couple of honest lines is all we're looking for!
Email your reviews to kir...@gaelic-arts.com.

The first 3 reviewers will receive an exclusive collection of postcards from the soon to be relaunched, Leabhar Mor!
