Hi a h-uile duine

Here's one for Bob Dylan fans. A BBC Highlands & Islands story today
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/highlands_and_islands/7414728.stm)
announced:

"A poet who translated Bob Dylan songs into Gaelic is to have them
performed for the first time. Rody Gorman made the translations of
classic Dylan compositions like Knocking On Heaven's Door, She Belongs
To Me and All Along The Watchtower. The songs will be performed by a
band at the first Leabhar's Craic Gaelic festival in Glasgow on
Saturday.

The festival, which celebrates Gaelic literature, will be held at the
Centre for Contemporary Arts. Dublin-born Mr Gorman now lives on the
Isle of Skye. He has published many poetry collections in both
Scottish and Irish Gaelic, and has worked as a writing fellow at
Sabhal Mor Ostaig in Skye and at University College Cork. "

Doing further digging, there's a 2007 article
(http://www.hi-arts.co.uk/aug07-feature-bob-dylan-in-gaelic.html)
which describes Gorman's project, and includes a PDF with Gaelic
lyrics of all the songs he'd translated up until then. Inntinneach,
nach eil? ;-)
