AVPN 1.6 fatal error

I just upgraded to the new version of Java for 10.5.2 and Almost VPN
1.6pre won't load any more and exits with a fatal error. I can't even
activate and re-installing doesn't help. I don't know if the Java
installation was the problem but I can still create tunnels with a
command line in Terminal.

Can anyone suggest what I can try?

Try to delete following folders:

~/Library/Application Support/AlmostVPNPRO
/Library/StartupItems/AlmostVPN

And then try again.

What kind of "new version of Java" have you istalled?

I have installed "Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 1" and I got the same
problem. Will try to provide fix ASAP.
