Itunes 7.7 Update Breaks Almost VPN ??

LeapingBytes,

I have found that since yesterday my AlmostVPN is not working, since
that time I have only installed two
applications:

1/ Microsoft intelimouse prefpane for OS X (since removed)
2/ Itunes 7. Update.

I can no longer even open the AlmostVPN Prefpane, I am not sure if
this is directly related to itunes or not,
I tried to uninstall the program but the uninstaller in the 1.6_pre
dmg doesn't even want to know!!

I would appreciate if if you have any idea whats going on here and how
i can help troubleshoot...

Are you getting "Fatal Error ... contact leaping bytes" dialog? If
you are, then most likely the reason is not iTunes, but recent
(actually it is not so recent any more) Java update. You need to
install latest build of AlmostVPN 1.6/226. Do no bother with "un-
installing", you can just install it on top of old version.
