problem installing and using AlmostVPN 1.6 on Mac OS X 10.5.3

I want to use AlmostVPN on Mac OS X 10.5.3.
It seems to be installed correctly... but I can not get it to
connect...

Right now, I'm with Acanac for my Internet service...
For all customers, a SSH tunnel with socks proxy (dynamic proxy in
ssh) is available to escape the Bell throttle...
I want to have this SSH tunnel up all the time...
I tested it on the command line with "ssh -D 8080
user...@nx.acanac.net" and it's working fine... but if it loose the
connection, it does not reconnect automatically... this is why I need
AlmostVPN for my ssh tunnel.

I installed AlmostVPN for all users (double click on
AlmostVPNPRO.prefPane and select for all users)
In AlmostVPN, I have one server and one profile.
If I test my server configuration, I have the green dot... so my
server should be fine.

in the control tab, if I click start for my profile, I don't have any
indication that my profile/server is connected or trying to connect.


What are the correct way to install AlmostVPN and configure my server
to get all this working correctly?
