The Farmers Market season is wrapping up this month. We haven't decided if we'll go to markets on the 22nd or stay home and focus on farm chores all weekend. We are looking forward to cheering on Becca at the State XC Meet on the 29th (it looks very likely that her team will qualify next week). John is furiously rebuilding the cattle working corral so it will be operational by the 26th when we are scheduled to vaccinate and preg check the cows. If we don't go to market on the 22nd I'd guess that will be when we mouth and bag the ewes to see who we get to keep in the flock another winter. I'm trying to get a good handle on all of our carcass orders (whole and half lambs, quarter, half and whole beef) and learn this new customer email platform. I think a lot of our google group emails are hitting spam blockers. We have finally given up on century link (qwest) DSL for our internet and are trying wireless from a local company. Now that it's installed the kids love the higher speed but John and I are morning the loss of our old email addresses. Please replace lau...@q.com with lori...@laufamilyfarm.com in your email system. Hope to see you in Idaho Falls or Logan on Saturday! |
