Just 10 more days until our target deadline for our “Grant’s paperwork project”.  I’m hopeful we can have everything done, double checked, etc by then.  Sarah spent the weekend here last week and got quite a bit accomplished in her 3 days.  Sarah’s cat is less than thrilled with the addition of Maisy to their family, but everyone else seems happy about it.  Both kids are staying busy with homework and school activities.  Tom has set the goal of attending all home games-football, volleyball, etc.  He has certainly attended quite a few games since school started.  Becca needs to sell around 80 wreaths for Job’s Daughters this year-there are only 3 active girls left in the bethel.

Keeping the cows, calves, steers and ewes and lambs all where they belong and on good feed is continuing to keep John busy.  I’ve been slogging thru the paperwork project so I’ve been little to no help with farm duties.  The four sheep and Katie the bottle calf, that are living here at the house decided to go walk-about today, so I did get to help herd them back on to our property and investigate where they had found an open gate.  John has set the date for preg-checking and vaccinating the cattle for later this month.  I’m hoping things calm down when the bulk of the paperwork project is complete and that there is little follow-up work.

Many thanks for your business, and your thoughts and prayers,
