We had planned to attend the SLC and Idaho Falls Farmers Markets tomorrow morning however we feel the need to cancel these plans.
John’s dad was in the hospital for several days after a trip to the ER on the 3rd. He is now back in his home and is receiving hospice care. We thought, as did the nurse, that we’d lost him last night but he has rallied and seems to have recovered all his mental faculties. I’m feeling strongly that I should be here, in addition to John and his sister. Taking care of farm duties seems to be about all we (mostly me) can handle on top of the emotional and physical demands of hospice care.
Hopefully things will settle down enough-one way or the other-that we can resume our planned delivery schedule next week. The plan for the 18th is to be at the Cache Valley and Downtown SLC markets, and make a stop in Ogden on the way home. Pocatello customers please contact us and we’ll make arrangements to get meat to you fairly soon.
