V8 Disco 1 owners - watch
those injectors
We have found that most V8
Disco I owners have very poorly maintained
injections systems. Major culprits are faulty /
dirty stepper motors and dirty injectors which
causes bad idling, poor performance and high fuel
consumption.
Injectors should be cleaned
(professionally) every 50 000 km or
so.
Injector cleaner does work to a limited
extent but tends to block the
micro filters in
the inlet orifice of the injector.
