Howdy folks,
What do you say to another jaunt into the wild? The plan is to leave
Saturday morning by 9 AM at the latest and head up to the Lehigh River
Gap. If the weather cooperates and the ground is dry, then it'll
actually be a pretty intense uphill climb over large rocks. It's not
your grandma's hike - check out the first couple pictures on this
website:

For that reason, hiking boots would again probably be a Very good
idea, but they're YOUR ankles, and you probably could get by in good
sneakers if that's all you have. I think we'll only have room for 8
or 9 people at the most, but this hike doesn't seem to lend itself to
large groups anyhow, as we'd be probably be much more likely to cause
a major rock slide. Shouldn't be more than a 3 or 4 hour affair. If
you want to come, please give me the name of an emergency contact with
phone number (unless you know I've already got it) and then I need
everybody to bring 3 dollars as gas money for our drivers. Otherwise
they might go on strike, and then where would we be?
Sorry for the short notice!
Tom
