to LoC: Lafayette Outdoors Club
Howdy Outdoors Club,
This Sunday we're doing another dayhike, this time on the difficult
Frank Gantz Trail which goes for 3 miles between Tobyhanna and
Gouldsboro Parks, located about an hour north of here. Everything I
read tells me this a very hard trail with lots of rocks and many spots
where "rock-hopping is necessary". That said, we are only letting
those people come who have good hiking boots, preferably those that
guard your ankles. You CANNOT do this hike in sneakers.
Also, we're only going to take between 5 and 10 people this time, so
get back to me soon if you want to do the hike AND have good boots.
We're planning to leave around 10 AM on Sunday morning, and should be
back before 4 PM.
Tom
