Outdoors Society Email List Update

Hey folks,

This is just a quick email to all the upperclassmen that we still have
on the Lafayette Outdoors Society email list to let you know that you
are still part of the club. If you would like to be removed from this
list, let me know.

We have a very exciting semester planned. We have been granted a hefty
budget by student government this year, which will go towards
outfitting the club with lots of cool new gear. We now have five
committees (hiking/camping, rock climbing, water sports, cycling, and
running) all of which will be planning trips throughout the year. We
will have at least one trip per weekend, so if you're looking to get
outdoors we highly encourage you to be involved with the club this
semester!

Our first adventure this semester will be a camping trip to Hickory
Run State Park on Saturday Sept 18th (returning by noon the following
Sunday). We will explore the park a bit, do some swimming, play on the
east coast's largest boulder field, and chill at the campsite. We
anticipate a large group so it should be lots of fun! Look for an
official email in a couple days.
