Anyone still need an August guest on Labor Radio?

Labor Radio comrades, I received this request from ILWU 5 about their new CD (!). Angela and I have already taped our August show, so I figured I'd throw it out to the list and see if anyone is still looking for an August guest... For instance, Kevin, your show is the day before their CD Release Party so the timing would be ideal!

If not, though, I'm sure we can fit them into a future show.

Hi Al and Angela,

I'm writing you today in hopes of being on your radio show. I'm a member of the ILWU Local 5, the union of Powell's books employees, and in 2010 Local 5 put together a compilation CD of songs that featured lyrics from the 1919 version of the IWW's little Red Songbook and set them to new music.

It tooks us a while, but we now have the CD on CD Baby for people to buy the CD or the download the album. On August 21st, we will be having a Digital Album Release party at the Red and Black cafe. Since the Red and Black is having financial woes, we decided that we would like to help them out by bringing people to the Red and Black!

Here's the link to the CD Baby page where you can preview and, if you so desire, purchase the CD. All proceeds go to the Local 5 strikefund.

I realize that to get on the air before the release party on the 21st is a long shot, but myself and another member of the Local would still like to come on air at anytime to discuss the Little Red Album. Even if you could just mention the show on air that would be awesome!
