Wicky's Quaker memorial service was held last Sunday.  It was a wonderful service and a testament to the loving and effective life that she lived. About 20 people spoke during the hour long service.  Several spoke of the work she did for many years for civil rights and social justice spanning 50 years.from their time in Chicago in the 60's to their time in York, Pa.

I read a little from the bio sketch that appeared in the Lion our senior year and remembered the article that she wrote for Good Housekeeping about the incident at 3 Mile Island.  She was President of the Girls Club and played a big part in our years in high school.

Yes, thank you, Doug. It was wonderful that you were able to attend Wicky’s Quaker memorial and share your thoughts with us. I agree with Kathy that Wicky was a wonderful person. My condolences go out to Ken and all who loved her.
