I hope you will join this year's Village University in Concord class Game On!  Heading to November.   The class starts March 29, 9:45 a.m.  and is held at the Harvey Wheeler building, West Concord.  ( this time could change to 10: a.m.with the remaining classes)

Speakers are lined up to talk about who votes and why; why you should care; what's in it for you; threats to voting; money in campaigns; how we can make voting easier and more reliable.   Subjects always could change depending upon the mood  of the speaker.   The speakers are always lively and informed, as is the audience.   I do hope you will join us in this important election year.

Game On! The 2012 Elections

The 2012 elections will choose a U. S. president and a Massachusetts senator.   Will your vote count? In her fourth Village University course, Janet Beyer will bring in speakers to address the value of your vote, why you should care and how future voting methods could change. Janet Beyer has been a supporter and student of the political process through her 40-year membership in the League of Women Voters.  Active in numerous political campaigns, she has written for local newspapers, served on Town committees, and is an elected member of the Democratic State Committee from the Third Middlesex Senatorial District.
