The LDTC is holding a brief meeting on Wednesday,
April 11 at 1:00 p.m. at the home of Al and Peggy Schmertzler at 142 Chestnut
Circle at Farrar Pond Village. The meeting will be brief.
The Lincoln Democratic Town Committee is mandated
by state law to hold a meeting between April 5 - 15, which is ten days after the
thirthieth day following the Presidential Primary. That is the official
time for reorganization of the town committee and the election of
officers. Documents signed within that window, along with the certified
memberhip list, must be filed with the Democratic State
Committee and three other public bodies dealing with Massachusetts election
by April 15 at the latest. .

Basically you are encouraged to attend
to re-affirm the votef/ (or not) of the above named officers and we
hope that you are available to attend so that the committee will be in
full compliance with state election laws.The Secretary and Treasurer will sign
the document dated April 11 and submitted to the state board and other
state election officials prior to April 15..
The meeting will be brief. but will also be an
opportunity to report briefly to the committee on various campaign and events
happening in town or nearby that may be appropriate to distribute to the
membership. A more general meeting is being planned.
Your presence at this Wednesday's meeting would be
welcomed as would a reply to indicate whether or not you can attend.. The
treasurer would also like to remind members that dues are due
and needed.
