On Wednesday, September 3, at 7pm we will be discussing the Drama/Romance - Silent Light/Stellet Licht (2007). Johan (Miriam Toews), a married Mennonite who maintains a quiet, simplistic lifestyle in rural Mexico, experiences a moral dilemma as a result of his passionate -- and torturously public -- affair with Marianne (Maria Pankratz), a neighbor. As he goes through the ritualistic motions of his daily life in a bucolic landscape, he is forced to weigh his love for Marianne against the survival of his marriage, his family and his deeply felt religious beliefs. 85% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes:

Creating a Zoom account is optional. You can join a meeting without one, or you can log onto Zoom with your Gmail or Facebook account.

Joining a meeting is easy. The instructions are the same for Mac and Windows:

1. Open the Zoom desktop client.
2. Join a meeting using one of these methods:
   • Click Join a Meeting if you want to join without signing in. Or...
   • You may sign in with your Facebook or Gmail account then click Join. Or...
     
   • If you have created a Zoom account, sign in to Zoom then click Join.
     
3. Enter the Meeting ID number. 
   
   • If you're not signed in with your Zoom/Facebook/Gmail, enter a display name. Or...
     
   • If you're signed in, change your name if you don't want your default name to appear.
     
4. Select if you would like to connect audio and/or video and click Join.
