On
Wednesday, October 22, at 7pm we will be discussing the Comedy/Drama - Pop Aye (2017). On a chance encounter, a disenchanted architect bumps into his long-lost elephant on the streets of Bangkok. Excited, he takes his elephant on a journey across Thailand, in search of the farm where they grew up together. Along the way they meet a colorful cast of characters. As the encounters mount and the bond between man and elephant deepens, filmmaker Kirsten Tan weaves a strikingly universal tale in this feature debut. (Winner of the Screenwriting Award for World Cinema - Dramatic at the Sundance Film Festival and the Big Screen Award at the Rotterdam Film Festival.) 92% on Rotten
