I Am Cuba (1964) not now available on Kanopy. Here are alternative streaming sources.

It appears that the Santa Cruz library has reduced its Kanopy offering to just Kanopy for Kids and that none of the movies that we have on our schedule are available from Kanopy anymore. I will check directly with library staff today to confirm this, but if you have not seen our film for this week, I Am Cuba (1964, 2:21, 100% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes), you can find it for rent on: Amazon for $6.99, Apple TV from $3.99, and Fandango at Home from $5.99. It is also available on YouTube for free.

We will have to decide how we will go forward without Kanopy for our movies. I will offer some alternatives tonight and will look for input from all. Rest assured that we will have a movie that you can access to discuss next week.

Good news! I checked with Santa Cruz Library staff. Until I called, they were unaware that the problem of just-movies-for-kids existed. They are working on it and we will have movies for grown-ups available back on Kanopy soon, although possibly not this week because of the holiday. So we will proceed, and I will give you other sources for streaming all of the movies that we have selected from Kanopy, in case the problem is not fixed until early next week.
