Hi All,

Gross Park's advisory council is meeting at 7 p.m. tonight in the park's fieldhouse. It completely slipped my mind that I had approached them about folks from LSNN appearing at the meeting. I have to cover another meeting in Roscoe Village tonight and can't attend.

Should we ask to be on their agenda in October?

Any takers??? My husband is not going to be home tonight. Otherwise, I would attend.

Unfortunately I have to lead a meeting at work that is always the second Tues night of the month (exactly when the advisory council meets!)  so I'm not able to attend tonight, but I think it's a great idea for our two groups to get together.

Just FYI...I am planning to attend the CAPS meeting on 9/25 and can report back to our group!  Thanks.

I think there will be some families from St. Matthias there as well to discuss the closure of Ainslie/Lincoln & Western to a crossing guard. So dangerous. Literally, it's like frogger with three kids. The police dept & both Alderman did a nice job following up, but we are going to the CAPS meeting to make sure the crossing guard is reinstated.

Unless one of the Adam's are able to attend, maybe we need to postpone til October?

How was the Party in the Park?

From what I could tell, it seemed Party in the Park was more lightly attended than usual. Perhaps because it was scheduled the same weekend as German-American fest and on the opening weekend of college football.
