Hello,
Vugen hangs while running a HTML script the first time its been executed after recording. The scripts fails at a point and vugen hangs. The stop button isn't working and the status shows that it is still running.

Is there a way to stop the script execution and do a dry run without vugen getting hanged?

Appreicate your quick help

Ron

You may have to kill it and the .mrdv processes in the task manager if it is hanging. What version are you on? maybe you need to upgrade. if this continues, I would uninstall and re-install it again to fix the hanging.

You may also want to do some correlation so your script stops failing and hanging, before you do the above. If you are still having issues do a fresh intall.

Hope this helps,

What Roland said ;-)

What you also could do is add breakpoints or lr_abort() calls at
specific points, just before the hang. That way at least you'll have
some logging output to investigate what is going on at that specific
location in your script.

The other thing you might do is turn off the fancy gizmos: the
run-time viewer, the 'animated run' option, and set it to script view
rather than tree view.

Floris

First try what Floris Kraak recommended and if you're still stuck use the below tool to verify your web_submit html header, body and url caputured by LR.
http://www.charlesproxy.com/download/

charlesproxy also has an option to replay and record(very basic mode)...its a web proxy debugging tool.
