Hi Folks ,

We need to simulate the MSMQ messages in our project.
We are using webservices protocol (selecting JMS Transport in Addservice call).
Is this right approach to send MSMQ requests to server.
Can we simulate MSMQ protocol in loadrunner??

I even approached HP support team this was there reply

"I apologize by the delay I was out of the office, regarding the discussions that I had with my team and for sure LR will not be able to reproduce the MSMQ request that you need to test this based in that LR works over the Client – Server model and when MSMQ is used it executes some information in the client side and it is not possible to be catch by Vugen
because after the request there is not a complete response from the server.
And MSMQ uses TCP, UDP and RPC at same time making a hybrid of protocols that is not
recognized by any of the available recording process"

 I need  your thoughts .........

Thanks
Rajesh

MQ can be exercised by a number of methods
* An add in to LoadRunner produced by Commercequest specifically for MQ
* Windows Sockets
* Java Template Virtual User via JMS
* VB Template Virtual user via MQ API
* C Template Virtual User via MQ API
* Custom DLL virtual user via MQ API

Implementation details will vary based upon your licensed protocols, the
skills contained within your organization and your project's timeline.

to LoadRunner
Hello Rajesh,
I was in constact with the LoadRunner team a few years ago (just
before Mercury was sold to HP), and offered to write an MSMQ add-on
for LoadRunner. The negotiation came to a dead end eventually -
apparently they did not think MSMQ is important enough.

However I am still looking for opportunity to write this add-on -
either for HP or for a customer. If you are interested on working
together on the project, please contact me.

All the best,
Yoel
