Changing the number of users in - Real-world schedule by test, Number Mode

I want to change  the number of users in - Real-world schedule by test, Number Mode  Scenario. By default I can see the option to change the no of users to be grayed out in this mode. Its frustrating to roll back to percentage mode, give percentage values for each scenario based on the user load and then rolling back again to Number mode to see if we get the desired numbers for each scenario. Even after doing this I am unable to get the desired numbers. PC is using some algorithm to distribute the users by itself when we provide the % values. I also observed that this automatic distribution by PC changes every time.
