very absolutist and pro-amazon as per usual. i also found this statement completely self serving:

"I don't care if I ever sell another book in my life (and my agent adores me when I say stuff like this)."

if this is truly how you feel, why don't you take down your website and stop talking about it?

Those progress meters are downright creepy!!  Who spends time figuring out stuff like that (17% done)  I guess its pretty obsessive compulsive...
