Greetings!

I am Tony Moran and I met Eric Punzalan in our Manila Autogas station in Taft Avenue. He kindly included me in your users group. I have some experience in AutoLPG and may be able to contribute to some concerns.

As a backgrounder you may check out our webpage at www.manilaautogas.com. We have 6 operating Autogas refilling station around the city, and several planned for completion within the first half of 2007.
  • Visayas Ave nr Congressional Ave;
  • Araneta Ave. accross Funeraria Paz:
  • Taft Ave., between Buendia and VitoCruz inside the Stark station
  • Quirino Ave cr. Pedro Gil inside the Metrogas stn
  • Commonwealth Ave., inside the CityOil stn
  • C-5, Pasig, south-bound between Hyundai and Caltex
  • EDSA Balintawak cloverleaf (opening in March)
  • JP Rizal (opening in March)
  • MIA Road (opening in April)
  • Mindanao Ave (opening in April)
  • Marcos Hwy (opening in May)
In our stations, most of our customers are taxi drivers. We know they know their fuel efficiency and notice a discrepancy immediately. We endeavor to fill honestly. We make sure that we have no leaks in nozzles or pumps because these will reflect on us as underfilling. We check our nozzles and monitor pumps daily and adjust calibrations weekly. In our C5 station, we offer free conversion kit inspections (8am-5pm) to help customers maintain their efficiency and safety.

We are in partnership with several converters: Naiaddss, Greengas (Aldesa, Turkey), Hana (Korean), SKN (Indian), Tartorini (Italian). The objective is to increase the market being able to offer all brands to consumers. For different cars, I would suggest the following:
  • Motorcycles & tricycles: SKN
  • Taxis & Carburator types:Naiaddss and Greengas
  • EFI: Greengas
  • RSI/SGI: Greengas & Tartorini
  • 6 & 8 Cylinder, all kinds: Greengas & Tartorini
Originally I had Naiaddss convert my Altima, EFI. After having my fuel efficiency drop to 60% of gasoline efficiency, and numerous adjustments, I change my conversion kit after 6months to Greengas (Aldesa). Now I am 95-100% of gasoline efficiency.

There have been some requests to change filling nozzle to Italian type. For these we can connect our customers with our conversion partners. However, in all our stations we can fill both types efficiently. Btw, we have heard that the DOE/LTO may use the Italian nozzle as a standard... we have yet to see.
Whatever kit you use, we strongly urge that you have a thorough check up from your kit converter after the first 5000km and every 10000km thereafter.

Feel free to contact me through my personal email address: amm...@gmail.com
You may also want to drop by our C5 station for some coffee and good food as you refill and talk autoLPG!

Thank you for your indulgence! Happy Cleaner, Safer and Cheaper driving!

Tony

Hi Tony,

You may already know that my website ( www.waypoints.ph ), as part of its free public service, has a category on its database containing Autogas refilling station waypoints.  I will add the stations that you listed below to that database.

I visited your website and its maps are not yet up to date ... I know your C5 station is already operational but your website still mentions it as "future sites".

btw Eric Punzalan is a good friend of mine who caused me to have my Kia converted to autoLPG.  We are both happy users of autoLPG.  I was the one who told Eric of your branch at Taft based on the brochure I got from your C5 branch.

btw too, I also met Jerome Gutierrez, President and CEO of Manila Autogas at the C5 station a couple or so weeks ago.  We had a short though interesting conversation.  By cc: of this email, Jerome, may I invite you to join this egroup.

Thanks,
Ed,
web admin - www.waypoints.ph

Hi Ed,

Thanks for your email. We are currently updating our webpage. In the meantime, if you are around our C5 station I can give you one of our brochures. It would also be nice to have coffee and exchange thoughts about autoLPG at our station.

I have been trying to get into your webpage, but have been having difficulty.

Kind regards,
Tony

Fellow LPGers,

Tony's 60% to 95-100% efficiency variation/change is interesting.  LEt's schedule an EB and have this topic in the agenda :)

Tony, how many can your coffee shop the the C-5 branch accomodate?

regards,

eric

Science Bits: PET plastic from used softdrink and water bottles are recycled into polyester fabrics i.e. carpets, t-shirts, "fleece" for jackets, etc.  For instance, one t-shirt can be made out of PET material from five 2-L bottles.

Hi Eric,

What's an EB? :-)
We can have about 25 people. I can have the partner in charge of the turkey conversion give us a talk about Aldesa conversion kits.

Thanks, Eric.

my system is done by naiadds and the car is a nissan cefiro efi. mga two-three weeks ago na since i started experiencing na mamatayan ng makina. pag lpg lang naman. pag gasolina walang problema.

Hi Rem,

The problem may be in the fitting of the mixer. It might have gotten off a bit. Again, in our C5 station we will check it up for free and give you tips.
