I hope the owner of the e-groups doesn't mind me answering your query.

Hello Cidni,
<What is the capacity of a full tank?>
Currently I am using a 60 liter tank in my car. You lose 20% capacity due to air so that effectively makes it only 48 liters.

<How far can you go with it?>
The range is about 10-15% less compared to gasoline mileage.  On my SGI unit (fuel injected) i lose give or take 10%. The carburated systems i heard are less efficient and can reach up to 15% loss.

I will replace my tank to the 70 or 75 liter equivalent depending on the fit.

Cheers!

I average ~300kms ........ from gauge reading starting from 85% down to 12% using a 60-L tank.

Note: The tank is filled only up to 85% capacity to make room for LPG vapor over the liquid...that is to accommodate pressure changes due to temperature fluctuations.

During operation, at just <12% of capacity remaining, the gauge will read zero percent and the gauge will beep intermittently. That's to warn me  that I have about 7 L of LPG remaining.  At this point, I note the number of kms travelled (from 85%).   I know of course that I still have about 7 L if LPG in my tank..which serves as "reserve".

Bottomline, in my case (feroza at  ~7km/L of LPG ),  I can go for AT LEAST 300 Kms per "full tank"

Thanks Eric.
How much again does a "full tank" cost?
Though my 45liter gas tank can bring me >600kms, at ~13kms/li, costing
P2500 at P55/li of gas... I travel 180kms per trip between Tanjay and
Bacolod, costing ~P715 at 13kms/li...
The point is: the only LPG refuelling station is in Bacolod, and
unless another comes up in Dumaguete, I'll have to use gas on my way
back to the refilling station...

Still, at ~300km

LPG is ~P30/L now.

So a 60-L tank at 85% cap will cost  ~ (0.85)(60)(30) = P1500
