Welcome to the Lake Oswego NeighborWoods Google Group. This is a
comprehensive site where residents can discuss any and all tree-
related issues. I encourage you to post questions and answers, news
and local events in the metro area, and any other resources that your
neighbors might find interesting. I am Chelsea Smith, the AmeriCorps
Community Forestry Coordinator for the City of Lake Oswego in 2008 and
I plan to be active on this board as well. If you need anything you

503-675-2543. To kick things off I started by posting some information
on the Heritage Tree program, which we intend to expand this year.
Under the "Pages" menu you will find some basic information on the
Heritage Tree program. Under the "Files" menu you will find the
Heritage Tree Application itself and a map of all the Heritage Trees
in LO. If you know a special tree that might
qualify for the program, nominate it now. The review process takes
several months to complete and we are looking to designate trees at a
ceremony in April during Arbor Week. Again, thanks for your interest
