This year’s Arbor Week was a great success with 5 well-attended
events; a special thanks to the Police Department, Councilor John
Turchi, the ACC and other City staff who made these activities
possible. Donors included Whole Foods, Peet’s Coffee, Northwest
Natives Inc., Seven Dees Nursery and Uplands Elementary School. We had
over 20 volunteers throughout the week, several of whom were
AmeriCorps members through Northwest Service Academy. Thanks to all
who made Arbor Week a hit!
